you could smell the yummy goodness of these bakeries from a mile away, and they were so packed full of people, i could barely hold the camera up to get a shot!

there's almost nothing better than when your grandparents come for a visit. not only are they up for anything {even with a bum knee, or two}, they always want to take you out for ice cream, and they love antiquing as much as you do. we visited lots of small towns, stopped in at two bakeries, one ice cream shop, and at least five antique stores during our day around town. husband and i picked up a few new things along the way, and those lovely grandparents of ours surprised us with some of our favorite gadgets as well!
