arizona. {according to my iphone}

 vacation vacation vacation! a.k.a a much needed trip back home to see my family and friends. let me tell you, five days of awesomeness came too quickly to an end. the next trip will have to be at least two weeks. okay are you ready for this? here's what went down in those five days; i spent countless hours in the pool, went to a bridal shower, had mani-pedi's with mom, had my hair done, did some shoe shopping at dsw, paid a visit to fashion square and to kierland, went for some dq {brad was kind enough to let me have a bite of his blizzard. oh, those yummy dq fudge bars.. eat too many and they'll work as a laxative! i swear. read the little package it comes in!}, had kenzie and dustin over for a visit, dad helped blow dry my hair, played words with friends with mom every night while dad played solitaire {both on their respective ipads}, stayed up until midnight chatting with mom {every night}, put a new battery in the ghia with the help of my little brother, went out for dinner at bj's with mom, dad, kenzie, and dustin, spent some quality time with my older brother, had kenzie and jessica over for a visit, took the little brother to sbux for frappuccinos, and had a going away lunch at home with the family. whew! what a whirlwind.
all in all i would have loved some more time to visit, but the poor kitties were here alone as i have no friends {yet} to ask to check up on them. i shouldn't complain though because even having the opportunity to spend one day with family is something to be grateful for.
