it was the best fourth of july ever! husband and i spent the whole weekend celebrating around town in the beautiful 75+ degree weather. :0)
on saturday we drove up to tacoma's freedom fair air & car show. the day was filled with lemonade, vintage planes, stunt planes, hot rods, and yummy sushi. {we had a bit of a mix up directionally on the way there, but we ended up stumbling across the most amazing rose gardens! thank you very much iphone.}
on sunday we decided to go back up to tacoma for their freedom fair where we, drank more lemonade, listened to live music, watched RC car races, ate loads of unhealthy food, watched another air show, saw even more hot rods, and lounged around beneath the trees. after an exhausting, but wonderful day, we drove home for a quick nap before heading back out to ft. lewis for their huge fireworks display. with our lawn chairs in tow, husband and i spent the evening watching the most fabulous fireworks display washington had to offer {as far as we know}.
it couldn't have been better, and we are just so excited to be making these memories together.
